Modular Advantages

Visual Plant Tour

Explore our visual plant tour to see how Professional Building Systems integrates precision, strength, and efficiency into every home. Our modular home construction delivers superior durability, energy efficiency, and long-lasting quality.

From the foundation to the finishing touches, we carefully design and build each element. First, exterior wall sheathing extends over floor and ceiling perimeter bands, enhancing structural integrity. Then, we install batt insulation, DOW rigid foam, and spray foam around exterior receptacles, which maximizes energy efficiency in walls and subfloors. Additionally, foam gaskets along marriage walls and sealed floor-to-wall connections prevent air leaks and maintain comfort throughout the home.

Inside, we apply spray adhesive to ceilings to eliminate nail pops. Next, we reinforce horizontal drywall seams with cutoffs and mud, strengthening the walls. We add extra blocking behind cabinets, shelves, and mirrors to create secure fastening points. Moreover, we reinforce corners and wall intersections with lag screws and nail-then-screw walls, producing a sturdier, long-lasting structure.

To prevent air and water intrusion, we wrap doors and windows with flashing and apply spray foam around framing penetrations and electrical boxes, improving energy efficiency. Finally, we seal HVAC floor boots with Shurtape to maintain an airtight system and consistent airflow.

Together, these modular home construction features showcase meticulous craftsmanship, careful planning, and attention to detail. By combining structural integrity, insulation, sealing, and interior reinforcement, we create homes that remain strong, efficient, and built to last. As you explore the photos below, you can see how each step contributes to superior homes.

Better HVAC Seal

Sturdier Walls

Visual Plant Tour-Walls
Walls are initially placed and fastened with nails before being screwed for a final extra sturdy connection.

structural Rigidity

Visual Plant Tour-Structural Rigidity

Corners and Perpendicular intersections of walls are lagged into place using 1/4” lags for additional structural rigidity.

Shelf & Mirror Installation

Extra Blocking

Visual Plant Tour- Blocking

Additional blocking is installed behind the drywall for secure fastening of wall and base cabinets.

Spray Foam

Spray Foam is applied to all exterior framing penetrations to ensure a more air tight home.

Door & Window Wrap

A door and window flashing is used after installation to seal against water and air penetration.

No Nail Pops

Visual Plant Tour- No Nail Pops

Ceiling drywall is adhered using state of the art spray adhesive instead of standard fasteners to eliminate the possibility of nail pops once a structure has settled.

Foam Gaskets

A foam gasket material is installed on one side of each marriage wall to ensure an air tight seal when erecting the units on the foundation.

Clean Sub Floor System
